13th Dec inaugural flight dedicated to "kids in wheelchairs".
2nd Dec 100th flight
On the 5th November 2014 we flew 12 flights from Hamilton International Airport. This completed 92 flights todate and 208 special passengers. All these flights have been achieved within two years of the Charity first flying. 3 aircraft were used running 4 half hour flights. We started at 1pm with the final flight completed at 4:20pm. Great to get that under our belt, we now know what we are capable of doing. Photos of the day below:
On the 5 August 2014, we flew our 150th passenger, Tira Ripana (on the left in the photo below) from Community Living
As of the 30th June 2014, Child Flight has flown 63 flights and carried 130 special passengers out of Hanilton, Whakatane, Tauranga, Whangarei and Hastings airports.
On the 27 March 2014, Child Flight flew its 50th flight and 100th passenger. Photo below shows the Piper arrow over the Te Uku wndfarm with the 100th passenger on board. The photo was taken from the Cirrus SR20 that flew in formation.
6 January 2014, promotion with the Black Caps, Sky TV and the Waikato Times, before taking Liam on the first flight for 2014. Photo below:
10 November 2013 2 flights from Te Kowhai airfield for Canteen. Our relationship with Canteen started today, we have two more flights earmarked for them, hopefully to be flown in December.
18 September 2013 4 flights taking us to 30. We have now carried 63 passengers....
19 August 2013 2 flights #25 & 26. We are now over 50% with 5 flights in the pipeline, paid for, and 19 flights still to fund.
21 July 2013 first flight for "kids in wheelchairs" taking us to 48% of flights budgeted for 2013-14
18 July 2013 flights 22 & 23 accomplished, we are now 46% completed of the 50 flights budgeted.
11 July 2013 flights 20 & 21 accomplished, we are now 42% completed of the 50 flights budgeted.
5 July 2013 we achieved our 18th & 19th flights. We are now 38% of the way through our planned programme to March 2014 of 50 flights.

We have now completed 16 flights as of 16 May 2013, and carried 32 passengers; this is 32% of the way to our target of 100 passengers by 31 March 2014. Gemma and Alex from Marian Satellite getting ready (photo below):
One of our sponsors, http://www.electrical.co.nz/ has purchased a table for 10 couples at this year's Child Cancer Foundation and donated 4 tickets to Child Flight.

We have widened our scope to include Child Cancer.
We are now associated with the Waikato Chamber of Commerce & Child Cancer Foundation.
We have completed 11 flights to date and carried 22 special needs kids.
Our 6th Flight for the Charity was completed today (6 March 2013), the girls had a ball!!

On Wednesday 7th November 2012, Child Flight came of age when it accomplished its first flight under the new charity's name, Child Flight Charitable Trust.
And a mention in dispatches!!! (see photo below)
We have trialled several flights from Hamilton's main airport and Te Kowhai. The flights tracked to Raglan, giving the kids views of the new wind-farm, Raglan township and surrounding estuary, the Raglan Bar and Mount Karioi. The kids get a close (500' above sea level) view of the waves crashing over the Bar and if we are lucky a closeup of the guys on kite boards.
